So you're paying $2.50 for 50g of sugar. And 3.5oz is more like one serving for most people as opposed to the '3' is contains. Wake the fark up, guys. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»

You're not looking at the big picture. That 14 cents per package (almost 5 cents per serving!) goes a long way toward future insulin purchases if you invest extremely well.

I bought these before and they are really delicious, but they're essentially straight crack sugar using cashew pieces as a carrier. The type of addictive food that epitomizes "one piece is too much, one bag is never enough." No judgement, just good to be aware of how far away from actual cashews these really are as food.

Haha, yep. This was a food that I bought, liked WAAAY too much. Then I reflected on how dangerous it was for my body, the intense sugar lift and drop it gave, and how powerless I felt trying NOT to eat the entire bag and seek out more. It is a food deliberately crafted to hook people. Realized I had to keep it out of my home. It also made me stop and contemplate how easy it is to get addicted to a "natural" substance that is completely unhealthy despite "knowing better."

We see drunks, crack addicts, money addicts, etc. in society and can choose to go two ways-

(1) "oh, they are different from me, I'm superior, that will never happen to me" or

(2) "I understand I am just as vulnerable to addiction as they, therefore constant vigilance and empathy toward others who get caught up."
