most that have atmos will take advantage of it, so i'd say 99% of 4k movies, if you have 9.2 speaker setup

Glad I held off and read these reviews. Going to switch focus and look at the Onkyo RZ50 although more expensive it seems like it dosent have all the issues this device has and is a better overall investment

If you game on PC and are trying to work around your lack of eARC (if using the TV as a hub) and lack of VRR (if using the AVR as a hub), you could run your GPU into your TV and your iGPU (or other GPU) into your AVR, then duplicate your "two" displays in Windows. I do this with my X1700H and my 2021 TCL TV even though I have VRR And eARC available, respectively, to get around some audio "spitting" issues I have on my PC, and because my TV doesn't pass DTS through. Obviously, this is not an option for console gamers - unless maybe they use an HDMI splitter or something.
