I bought an open box G16 a few months ago and I couldn't get the built in mic to work. Maybe another reset would've done it but it was already reset when I got it so…

Also the left speaker had a crackling in it almost busted sound that happened sometimes when it was charging. It didn't happen off the charger which was weird.

Very possible you buy this and it's great and you saved a decent amount of money but just look it over very thoroughly before keeping it. Personally I probably won't be buying another open box.

I recommend asking BB associate to open the box to verify condition in front of you. I got one marked as FAIR condition and it looks better than the other marked as Excellent. It was discounted to $1256 before tax. So far I'm happy with it. If anyone gets this one, try G-helper instead of Armoury Crate
