great price, yet struggling between the two,
it's battery is larger than the envy x360 but seems battery life is the same?
it use less common 2242 ssd rather than the envy's 2280 standard ssd which means you will have less options in terms of upgrading the ssd.
it's also half pound more heavier than the hp envy.
what else did i missing?

Good deal. 45% NTSC is unfortunate. I wish the Lenovo 7 14" from costco kept this model's micro sd card.

Especially for a 2in1. You NEED a good display on those, so hard pass on this. 8840 is nice as this price, but that screen is gonna ruin the experience.

Maybe if it wasnt a 2in1 you could swap out the panel.

Seems like this has USB 4 while the HP has USB 3.2. I missed the HP deal from last week so going with this one (like new for $570).

Calling it 2k instead of FHD is a bit corny, don't you think? Also 45% NTSC is terrible for a device that might also be used a tablet alternative.

No, it's not because it's not FHD (1080p), it's FHD+ (1200p).

Agree I hate the 2k nomenclature, but technically this is not FHD either. It is WUXGA+ or better yet FHD+.

Seems like the Lenovo slim 7 from b&h [bhphotovideo.com] has a better screen, similar price and other configurations($20 more)? Which one would you pick?

Intel not AMD so it would be a pass for me.

My tech guy said that higher-tier lenovos have a better lifespan than hp, in general.

That's tended to track my experience as well. Personally, I am not a fan of the hp series because they sometimes trade style for heat, and heat is bad for electronics' longevity.

With any laptop you want to check out the reviews. PC Mag and notebook check are pretty good, although every reviewer source has its strengths and weaknesses. Again, anecdotal experiences so take them with a grain of salt

Does it come with the pen / stylus? First impressions? Thanks!
