how is the Pro version? or Joule? probably only one or two trays to dehydrate in the Joule?
not as good as a regular oven in some ways for longer cooking?
probably great as addition or replacement to a microwave or making individual dishes. i've had a toaster oven before but the Air Fryer is not quite the same is what i've read about. it's similar to convection fan, but still not for some longer cooktime or something..?
i might contact Breville
yeah i'll have to ask Breville or a sales rep how the Joule is for dehydrating or any other benefits of it.

Does anyone actually use the extra features on this one? Air fryer, dehydrator, etc.? Wondering if they are any good.
This does appear to be a bit bigger than the 800XL too.

I said im going to buy a new 1! and here it is 100 off, and im being cheap. going to hold, maybe a larger discount hits eventually.
still works and cooks perfect, but its wonky. no complaints, got my $ out of it 10x
edit. I think im going to buy the JOULE model once it hits a sale.
oh part of me kinda probably may of caused my issue, twice in 8 years I took the sucker outside, shot it with ez oven cleaner, and then sprayed the entire fricken thing out with a hose and scrubbed it entirely. yeah soaked the entire bad boy.
but I let it dry with a fan blowing into the unit for like 3 days afterwards to dry it all up.
I had 2 room mates and they trashed this bad boy, splatters everywhere.
each time I did this, it dried up, and was clean and looked great. but I gotta think maybe the water affected the knob a little. lol
I didnt think it was going to work the first time, let alone 2nd time I did it, I was like, nothing to lose. was ready to buy a new one anyway. just comes spotless twice now.

Please see the "Questions" section, a customer asked about the interior, and the manufacturer responded on July 8th 2024, that it has a "propriety PFOA free nonstick coating"
