I just spent $101.64 (before 7% Amazon CB) on the 1/2" metric 12-pt Tekton set SHD92212 (30 sockets 10-24mm), after agonizing for a while about the lack of popularity of 1/2" chrome sockets, especially 12-pt. I use 12-pt sockets with a breaker bar, and my 25 year-old set was never complete to begin with.
I don't think I'll cancel that order, because I don't have a strong desire to own more SAE sockets, sockets >24mm, 12-pt sockets in 1/4" and 3/8", or Kobalt tools, but this is probably a good deal for someone who does.
