Newest Asus Zephyrus G16 with the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Processor. This model has 32GB of RAM (soldered), 2 TB SSD (1 extra SSD slot open), and a RTX 4070 GPU. I believe this is the first time it has gone on sale.

How in the world is a 4070 for $2000+ a good deal? People will literally upvote any post.
Give it 4 months and this would come down to $1600, not to mention the RTX 5000 series would be available by then too.

Not to mention the 4070 is not that big of an upgrade from a 4060 on laptops anyway. This is a ridiculous price when you can pick up a 4060 laptop that's only about 20% slower on average for literally a thousand dollars less

Wouldn't touch this deal after seeing the Lenovo 7 Pro 16IRX9H or whatever with the 240hz display, 4080, 32gb ram and 2x1TB drives for $1700+ from Microcenter. Went and purchased that the very next day after seeing it.

I really wanted a 14" but couldn't pass that one up.

Only thing I don't like about the Lenovo is that it's heavy.

There are extremely limited options for people who need a thin and light of this size with the most powerful GPUs and it is the only option with the HX 370. So $250 savings for people that need high core count and powerful GPUs in a very portable package (~4 lbs) in the PRESENT this is a good deal, not great, but good no etheless. People who are interested in this specific model that do not need it now, should know that in the future it will go down.

The Lenovo doesn't have an OLED screen though. That's a big miss on Lenovos part tbh.

The Lenovo legions w the 4080 and 4090 gpus are gaming beasts. But in a different weight class.

6.17lbs for the legion 7 16" vs 3.98lbs for the rog G16, both with a 16" screen.

The rog G18 w the 4080 and 18" screen is "only" 6.6lbs.

Well, as someone who uses an OLED as a primary desktop monitor, I do not feel like I'm missing out. I honestly did not want it on a laptop.

The 240hz screen is nice and plenty bright for me. I don't feel strange looking at my desktop (120hz oled) and then switching to the laptop.

I do not enjoy moving this thing around my home.
