This is hackable HD deal as many posted in the past.

This is the first time I saw the vacuum included. Last front page deal was $99 for the vacuum.

Home Depot currently has DeWalt 20V Max bagless stick handheld cordless vacuum for sale with BOGO with 20V MAX Cordless 10,000 PSI Variable Speed Grease Gun, (1) 20V 4.0Ah Battery, and Charger.

If you are able to return Grease Gun, you will get the vacuum for $70.84.

YMMV as some HD stores might not let you do it easily.

Great deal if you can get this to work. $99 is usually the lowest this goes. Slap a 5ah battery on this thing and it's really powerful. We use it to clean our car and to cleanup quickly after feeding our messy toddlers. Had it for about a year and it's still great. Just keep the filter clean.

Gonna try it!

Before everyone asks.

The "hack" is that you can return the grease gun and the difference makes the vacuum $70.

The "free" item is actually split in relative cost between it and the other tool. You can see this when you add the items to your cart.

It used to be that you could ship one item to your house and schedule the other for pick up. You'd cancel one while keeping the other. Or just never pick up the tool you didn't want. Eventually it got canceled.

Home depot has gotten wise to this and now requires both items share the same delivery or pick up method.

But you can still just take the item you don't want and return it in person. You'll be refunded for one and keep the other.

Thank you! I assumed most people who are interested in this are familiar with the classic HD hackables.

I have one and it works good. It has a hepa filter in it. Perfect for cleaning the wife's car of pet dandruff

I seriously doubt anyone has experience with both but how does this compare to the Ryobi pet stick vacuum? I'm in both ecosystems and I can't decide between the two.
From the specs the Ryobi has higher CFM and can swap heads to be better on hardwood floors. The DeWalt seems designed as a jobsite vacuum and the Ryobi seems more like a home use one. Kind of wondering if I should get one for home, one for work?

The following method won't work on this one because I can't seem to select a pickup anywhere, but: Within the past few weeks, Home Depot has let me pick two different pickup locations for hackable items. Set pickup for the item you want at your usual location. Set pickup for the unwanted item at a different location. Make the order, go to the "manage orders" page, and immediately cancel the item you don't want.

Obviously YMMV. Maybe you won't be able to cancel the other item. But worst case you pick up the item you want and the other one will automatically be refunded if you don't pick up within a week.

I like this method because if you can immediately cancel the item, it stops from an employee wasting time to pick an item that will be returned anyways.

That would be the best. Unfortunately, the grease gun is only for shipping in my area...... MN metro.

Thanks OP. Got it even though I probably don't need it. The wife is going to kill me when I pull out another vacuum for cleaning the car (an activity we do maybe once a year...) lol

Ryobi actually makes a handheld this size too. I own it and the ryobi stick. Heads are interchangeable and they both definitely have separate uses. I use the handheld on the sofa and cars, smaller jobs. I use the stick for the floors. Both require frequent emptying and at least a 4.0 battery for best results but I don't even look at the corded Dyson anymore, it's in the basement.
