Be careful, you get only $2000 credit limit and the transaction posting takes 1 week and credit card payment takes 2 weeks to settle. You can't over pay or high overdraft fee. It was a pain in the ass 3 months period of time to spend $4000.
2000? is that a typo missing a zero ? that cant be right. Surely its individual based on credit history.

Can't you transfer some credit limit from another Citi card if it's that low?

Ymmv on this one. I have excellent credit and well into the 6 figures in available credit card buying power and I wasn't approved for the card. Maybe they are tracking people who churn better than they used to?
My credit history was Excellent and i still got $2000 credit limit. Main reason is mortgage. If you have mortgage, then you will be given less credit limit. Please check with citi team well before applying.
The good part of this card is, the manager and the citi team behind this card tries to help you all the ways to get the Thankyou points and i will give a shot out to manager team, but not the credit card settlement teams.
Can you provide some more detail on how to reach them.
My Citi Premier had converted to this card - does that exclude me from canceling and getting this card for the bonus points?
Most likely, yes. Most cards have anywhere from a 1 to 5 year period that you can't reapply. Although some, like American Express Platinum say it's a lifetime restriction, yet they offered me another sign on after only cancelling for less than a year.
what are you doing for manufactured spending to hit the 4k when you dont have any large expenses? gift cards that you know you will eventually use? amazon/target/walmart etc? cant pay my mortgage with a cc

You can see the buy sell spread selling Amazon or Walmart gift cards to a reseller to see if that would eat too much profit. Most of the articles around manufacturered spending are talking about spends in excess of 25k/mo, not 1.5k/mo...

Same here. The reason is I got too many credit cards. I have 5 in total.

That's probably it for me too. As long as you pay in full every month, no worries right?
