I bought this for 549 on the black friday deal. I chatted with Amazon and they were able to give me a partial refund of 29.15 which is the difference in the price of the item (minus tax, so I lose about 2$ from that), as a "one time exception" since they don't do price adjustments. I didn't want to lug it back and forth to UPS to return and rebuy to get the 2$ back. Just thought this might be helpful for those that got it a few weeks ago too!

Watch out and don't buy the $499 one. It's not shipped and sold by Amazon, and that vendor has terrible review.

I have had this for a few years now. It makes great coffee and has saved me so much money in that time. There are fancier machines but I don't understand the differences. If you're thinking about getting it, just get it and you won't be disappointed.

First comment in the thread is that it's not in that poster's local stores. Definitely YMMV depending on how popular these are in your area.

The price has now dropped to $501. Fantastic deal!
This appears to be the lowest price since late 2019 (~$490).

I've been using this machine since it came out in 2013. It's probably the single most used appliance in my house. Zero complaints. Would buy again if ours ever decided to kick the bucket.

The Capital One Shopping plugin shows 20% cash back at Sur La Table, bringing your total down to $483. Yes, it's $18 cheaper, but there's value in not having to deal with the Cap One cashback.
