Building a deep sea submarine. Will this be a good controller for it?
No, you want to go with something much cheaper. This is too reliable. And make sure you're extra cocky and overconfident about whatever you use.
Yes it works

Got at $30 and most things felt great but for me the joysticks were too slippery and the back buttons were just too sensitive. Even if I just shifted the weight of the controller around I would accidentally click one of the back custom buttons. Add some roughness to the center of the grips and require more pressure on the back buttons then I will rebuy this thing.

I opened mine up today and tested it out on my daughter's Xbox One S. I really like the controller so far. I'm pleased with it so far.

Agreed. Like you don't want to go with cheap PLA to print the shell. Spend the extra to get ABS.

Huh. Well, I, in turn, didn't know anyone that was so unable to think. It seems obvious. Camera controlling stick exactly next to the movement controlling stick. On top of that being a personal preference, and seeming obvious to me, Sony consoles outsell Microsoft consoles. So, your belief that you "don't know anyone" is a bizarre thing to admit. Cite:

Did you opt for the carbon fiber exterior?

I like it better having the D pad more prominent as I use it the most especially in older games. I absolutely hate a bad d pad or bad d pad placement when playing 2d side scrolling or fighting games.

I would use a Nintendo 64 controller for that.

Those complaints are probably for the old version without hall sticks, both versions have the same name.
At least one review says the new one is a downgrade but doesnt mention drift
(added pic of review)

there is this option as well

black myth version https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-W...=8-16&th=1

these arent "pro" models but seem like solid choices too

FYI for PC users, the back buttons can't be rebound in steam input or with 8bitdo's software. You can swap inputs between certain buttons but you cannot create macros or bind the same action to multiple buttons like you can with the 8bitdo pro 2 wireless/bluetooth.

Yes on 15.2 beta
It's getting detected in 15.2 beta in system report but not getting recognized beyond this. I haven't been able to get it working on their firmware updater either. Any other tricks I should be trying? Thanks!
