I really enjoy Nongshim Neoguri spicy seafood udon in the packets a ton, it's one of my favorite instant noodles. But this Nongshim shin ramen in the cups tastes like cardboard to me. So nasty.

You can Subscribe & Save to these Nongshim Ramen cheaper if you instead order it in the packets… this costs a bit more than the packets because it comes with the bowl, but less than a dollar per "unit" is good for any of the Nongshim ramens, The noodles are clearly better than uber-cheap MaruChan or Nissin, these are really good with some added veggies and meat and dollop of mayo… but be careful, using the full broth powder packet results in a SPICY soup! I can handle it, but I prefer to use half a broth packet and save the rest for another meal.

The cup/bowl ramen style of packing may be worth it if you're going somewhere (like work) that doesn't have clean bowls. Now, I have only tried this flavor in the packets form, but I did get the bowls for the "Hot & Spicy" flavor in the blue and green label, and THOSE did come with an extra packet of dried veggies and these things🍥… kinda nice, but fresh veggies are better of course. Up to you if you want it this way.

I checked the product page but couldn't find ingredient information. Does anyone know if this contains meat broth?

A warning that this is very spicy. If you typically only like a little spice, this may be too spicy for you. As someone posted previously, you may want to use half the spice packet to tone down the heat. I like spicy food (I order Thai hot at Thai restaurants, where I'm sweating while eating), and this was pretty close to that, def more than a Thai medium. I used the full spice packet and enjoyed it, it is pretty good for a cheaper ramen.

The coupon applies to Neogury cups as well. You can only use one coupon per 6-pack. I added 1 Shin and 1 Neogury six packs and they split the 20% off between the two.

Yeah, I used it on the Shin Black cup noodles. Not my favorite, but at least it's edible. I already have plenty of the Neoguri packs right now or I would've used the coupon on that.

It's beef broth based… Ingredients state less than 2% of beef bone extract, beef extract, beef fat. If that makes this something you can't eat, better to know (but it's unusually good instant ramen for omnivores!).

Nongshim also sells an excellent "Soon Veggie" flavor that has a mushroom and vegetable broth instead! It's still spicy, but a little more mild and frankly I love it too!

Makes my nose run a little when I eat it, so yah, it's spicy. Yes, it has a high sodium content, just like nearly all instant ramen brands. Fortunately, you can use less seasoning to lower the sodium if you need to.

I really like this and I'd buy more except that I just bought it at costco in really big bowls.

Use half of the soup pack and save the other half for the next noodle soup.

If you cancel does the coupon come back?…And it's probably lined in plastic. How many different toxins can you pile into a snack?
Why ppl going on and on about salt while ignoring the chemical brew of other toxins? this company should try to make a much cleaner product, I'm sure it could be done without overexciting the tastebuds/brain, but apparently they want to keep to these addictive mixtures. …These things are tasty, but just how unhealthy are they? Give me some proof that they're OK so I can buy some. Are the noodles deep fried in oil and then dried?…I know inorganic phosphates are bad,, what about the rest of that list? what does the cancer warning on the package say exactly? Are you willing to shave a few years off your life for cheap and tasty meals? Do you actually feel good after you've eaten one of these? As I recall, the carb fulfillment feels nice but unending thirst… Not all of them may have a cancer warning
