The $15 adapter is great for CCS vehicle owners needing AC charging @ NACS port or Tesla destination chargers.
FYI - free shipping is included with $49 spend.
This would be a nice product to have for whenever someone without a Tesla is visiting my house and wants to charge their car. That said, there is small number of people I know with EVs, and even fewer with non-Teslas that aren't local (locals would have charging options at home anyways). I wonder how about the quality of the product.
Nice find but even $15 I don't think I'd ever use it
If you have a Tesla wall or portable charger but any non Tesla vehicle these are amazing. If you don't have a non Tesla then yeah these are not useful for you.
The Rexing Tesla to J1772 Charging Adapter is useful for situations and vehicles where non-Tesla electric vehicles (EVs) want to take advantage of Tesla Level 2 AC charging stations, such as Tesla Destination Chargers and Tesla Wall Connectors. It provides compatibility for J1772-equipped EVs, which is the standard plug type for most non-Tesla EVs in North America.
Vehicles That Benefit:
Any EV or plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with a J1772 port can benefit from this adapter. Common vehicles include:
Fully Electric Vehicles:
1. Ford Mustang Mach-E
2. Ford F-150 Lightning
3. Chevrolet Bolt EV/EUV
4. Hyundai Ioniq 5
5. Kia EV6
6. Volkswagen ID.4
7. Nissan Leaf
8. Rivian R1T/R1S
9. Lucid Air
10. BMW i4, iX, i7
11. Polestar 2
12. Audi e-tron lineup
Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs):
1. Toyota Prius Prime
2. Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid
3. Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV
4. Chevrolet Volt
5. Ford Escape/Kuga PHEV
Charging Situations:
1. Tesla Destination Chargers:
These are commonly found at hotels, restaurants, and shopping centers. They provide free or paid Level 2 charging for EV drivers. With the Rexing adapter, J1772-equipped EVs can use these chargers, which are often more conveniently located than other public charging stations.
2. Tesla Wall Connectors:
If a homeowner with a Tesla Wall Connector has non-Tesla vehicles or guests with J1772 vehicles, this adapter allows those vehicles to charge at home.
3. Shared Workplace or Public Locations:
Offices or public parking lots that have Tesla-only charging setups can be used by J1772-equipped EVs with this adapter.
Limitations:
Does not work with Tesla Superchargers: The adapter is only for Level 2 AC charging and not for Tesla's proprietary DC fast-charging network.
Slower charging speeds: Charging speeds depend on the Tesla charger output and the EV's onboard charger capacity, typically slower than fast chargers.
In summary, the Rexing Tesla to J1772 Charging Adapter is ideal for non-Tesla EV owners looking to expand their charging options by accessing Tesla's widely deployed Level 2 infrastructure.

I think I have to get my secret agent decoder ring out to decode what you wrote. If you don't have a non Tesla. Is that a Tesla or something else?
Got one before they sold out thanks to LordofRestocks on Twitter. Sweet deal since I've been looking for one for my Bolt EV for use at destination chargers.
No one with a Tesla would buy this. It is so that non-Teslas can use a Tesla charger.
I've got a Tesla, I bought one. In case any non NACS cars show up at my place and don't have an adapter. Or if some reason I need a rental or something from an accident - and get an EV; I'll have an adapter.
