cd keys has it for $5.29 btw
Fun game. Only thing I don't like about it is in some of the long missions, if you don't pass it, you have to start from the beginning. Mostly the ones that go by points. So if there's a 20 minute timer and you barely miss the mark, you have to play another 20 minutes to try to get it.
This was an ok game, but one of the worst in the series. Most of the missions had some gimmick designed to keep you from using your planes to their full potential. It's more of a stunt pilot game with dogfighting on the side, and you have to go way, way out of your way to find the enemy aces. It's a great deal at $6, but I wouldn't go more than $10 on it any other time.
Also, if you're an Ace Combat fan, check out Project Wingman. It plays like the PS2 era Ace Combat games, just pure, non-stop fun.

$6 for some childhood nostalgia. I'll give it a go on my 40" ultra wide. Should be interesting.

I would love to have the other Ace Combat titles as well. I believe due to licensing they can't. Loved this game

You can't go wrong with any of the PS2 games - but for me the best of the series was Ace Combat Zero - The Belkan War. The three PS2 games played pretty similarly, but Zero had an added honor system that I liked a lot. The story changed a little bit depending on how you fought in each mission.

Looks like this has expired unfortunately it's back up to $60, which seems crazy for a 6 year old game.
