512gb has been $417 with $50 for some while $440+ for most people before BF and lasted at least several weeks. Don't recommend at this price as the new model is right at the corner
True but the new model will cost almost double the price for just a merely 20% improvement.
The old claw is horrible don't get it

How does this compare to the MSI Claw on sale at Target for $20 less?

Amazing machine!! A gaming PC and a laptop replacement for traveling or for use in bed. I went ahead and put a 4TB Kioxia drive on there, a Logitech MX Anywhere and a Lenovo 3-device made for Legion Go keyboard and it's my main PC now.

Even though I want another one for my son, it's hard to pay over $100 more for an upgrade from 512gb to 1 tb. If it gets to $500 or less I'll buy another.

For me it's not performance it's battery life. The next flagship Legion needs 80Wh minimum (Ally X and both MSI Claw have 80Wh) and more efficient cores. If that comes with 20% increase in performance, then a 800-900 dollar price tag is justified. 1100 dollars for the new Legion would be DOA.

I dont get it. This thing is too big for traveling. Screen is too small for gaming. Why not just get a budget laptop with rtx 4050

The lowest I've seen for the 512gb model was $470. Where could you find it for lower for several weeks?
