For batteries, I think the limit is 100Wh because anything under that qualifies for class 9 hazard exception
Regarding the expansion pack vs buying another unit, I have done lots of research. It pretty much says the same thing; always get another unit so that you are not dependent on carrying both items around and have flexibility. I tend to agree with this as well.

Maybe cause it's a massive battery but I don't know. Other things with batteries are returnable.

Jackery 1000 was $349 back in Nov, it's better brand with solid track record. so with power station prices going down every few months and a lesser known brand, this would be a slick deal only at $325 or lower.
i see several Anker products on the front page. something is odd with SD.
Ha. I just purchased this for $499 last week and I'm working on them matching the price now
I bought directly from their website just under a month ago. The shipping takes a lot longer, like a week for me. But their support responds fairly quickly. I used it today to get a refund for the difference from the sale price from when I bought it and they processed replied and processed it quickly. Also, if you buy it from their website you can return it, unlike from Amazon.

That's not true, it's more costly and involved to return hazmat items, but they are still shippable/returnable if the seller is willing to offer it. I have returned a bluetti power station, and am currently shipping back larger lithium batteries for replacement, the paperwork and shipping arrangements are definitely more involved but in both cases the seller handled everything for me and I was able to ship back.
