For batteries, I think the limit is 100Wh because anything under that qualifies for class 9 hazard exception
I picked up the similar unit C1000x from Best Buy for the same price on the last sale a couple of weeks ago. I preferred it since it was all black, vs the gray look. I also ended up picking up a C300x (also in black) to go along with it. I think it's a good combination of power for the devices during a power outage (c1000x) and something smaller (c300x) to carry around for trips etc.
Regarding the expansion pack vs buying another unit, I have done lots of research. It pretty much says the same thing; always get another unit so that you are not dependent on carrying both items around and have flexibility. I tend to agree with this as well.

Grabbed one with the optional solar panel. First time going this route. The price was good and I saw that it ran a fridge for 12 hours.

Maybe cause it's a massive battery but I don't know. Other things with batteries are returnable.

What's up with people thumbs downing posts and comments but not adding a comment why? You clearly have an opinion, maybe share it.

Has anyone that has ordered directly from Anker on THEIR website had any issues with Customer Service? There are "benefits" from buying directly even though they offer the same price. Input appreciated.

I bought this unit from Best buy a month or so ago for $50 more and am happy with it. I was waiting for a sale on the expansion battery which basically doubles the capacity. The expansion unit is now on sale, directly from Anker, not via the Anker store in Amazon but, even with the discounted price thie power station is only $30 more. Expansion pack or new power station? I am conflicted.

why is this a slick deal (let alone FP deal)?
Jackery 1000 was $349 back in Nov, it's better brand with solid track record. so with power station prices going down every few months and a lesser known brand, this would be a slick deal only at $325 or lower.
i see several Anker products on the front page. something is odd with SD.

I bought directly from their website just under a month ago. The shipping takes a lot longer, like a week for me. But their support responds fairly quickly. I used it today to get a refund for the difference from the sale price from when I bought it and they processed replied and processed it quickly. Also, if you buy it from their website you can return it, unlike from Amazon.

That's not true, it's more costly and involved to return hazmat items, but they are still shippable/returnable if the seller is willing to offer it. I have returned a bluetti power station, and am currently shipping back larger lithium batteries for replacement, the paperwork and shipping arrangements are definitely more involved but in both cases the seller handled everything for me and I was able to ship back.
