Even then it would've been of no use because it's out of stock everywhere, and that's exactly the reason it's priced so low.

I think this cpu in this thin laptop will get really hot. which will throttle the performance so its a waste to have in there

Correct. I bought this last time it was on sale and it was throttling even while web browsing, so I returned it.
What's the point of an Ultra 9 if it'll act like an Ultra 5 due to heat? Wonderful performance on paper, but it doesn't run cool enough to matter.

When did you purchase it? Wondering if any bios or other updates could make it run any less hot (I doubt it, though).

What was the typical battery life like when doing basic stuff like browsing the web, etc.?
