I don't think this is objectively a good deal, you could basically make this out of the power strip/plug deals lately for half the price… but it's exactly what I need and looks cool so I'm in for one.

Actually, the *entire* usb array has a max output of 65w….. that's 45w for your laptop 20w for your phone… wish it was 100w

Edit2: there is a 100w one available for $10 more

Misleading information - as grubby mentioned the whole thing has a max output of 65w, so you will only get 65w when using one USB-C and no other USB ports

I had right usb c fail twice in 6 months. After seconds time they offered full refund, I'm thinking faulty design based on other reviews.

Will try 100w one, hopefully it has more component buffer

I have this, and bought it for traveling. For it's size, it is pretty heavy and the cord is super thick which is great from a durability perspective. If you're stuffing it in a roller, it is fine, but I can't put it in my backpack as it takes up too much space and is too heavy.

It's a little bulky but I love mine for traveling. Charge laptop, phone, tablet, watch and ear buds (all seperate cables obviously) off one block and one outlet is nice. Speeds do drop when you plug more stuff in.

I have the flat cable version too and it's a a LOT lighter!

Same - one usb c failed on one of mine and the other one burned with only 2 devices plugged in. Looks nice on the outside but quality is not great.

Like many others have mentioned, mine failed too. One thing worth noting - if you're using this on a nightstand next to your bed, there's a pretty strong light coming from the unit. I ended up ordering black stickers to cover it up, which worked fine.

I've looked at this and its 100w cousin on more than one occasion to include with my laptop bag or in my daypack/carry-on, but having both USB-A ports on the same circuit sharing 12W between them has always been a personal annoyance of mine. Most if not all of Anker's USB Multi-tap charging stations have this affliction whether it be their normal or their Prime line of products, yet they have several inexpensive USB-only chargers that have multiple circuits for the USB-A ports.
Had they been on their own circuits would be an absolute no brainer for me as the 2-2-3 configuration would be perfect for my use case; it is just that getting one of these has always been a nice to have want vs something that would make a significant difference in my pack.

I have both a 100w version and this version on both of my desks. Highly recommend against it. The USB ports eventually start acting strange and won't put out their full power.

My MacBook plugged in, alone, will randomly stop charging and then start charging. My 100w version of this has the same issue with a 65w output to a laptop. Just drops randomly and then comes back. Do yourself a favor, just buy a power strip and don't mess with these. I've had bad luck with both of them.

Can anyone recommend really solid alternatives that don't have any of the issues people are citing

I need a job that I can use to provide a more stable power output/connection than my motherboard for a usb audio device that the mic is constantly cutting out on/acting up. Anything I need to look out for? Thanks
