I got this TV a few weeks ago for $849 with Samsung epp with trade in (they recycled my broken TV which added to the value). Using it in the bedroom and really enjoy it, I find myself opting to watch TV there more than the living room since the purchase. That's a 75" high end TCL mini LED, 3 or 4 years old for reference.

So is that miniLED so bad or is this that good?

I like them both a lot, it's more that this one feels like an upgrade. I'm definitely an amateur but do game, watch shows and movies in both light and dark rooms with both TVs, and I like this one slightly more. Would buy again.

I bought this for $849 through Samsung EPP just in time for the Super Bowl. It's an upgrade from a cheap 50" inch Black Friday special from 6 years ago. It's the best TV I've purchased since my first flat panel, a 2006 Sony Bravia. OLED met all my expectations. I love the true, deep blacks when watching Star Wars and Star Trek. And the colors are perfect and never over saturated like on QLED TVs. Supposedly it's bad in bright rooms, but I wouldn't know. My apartment is not bright. I recently added a Samsung Q800 soundbar that Walmart had on deep discount. Now it sounds as good as it looks. Next upgrade are the rear channel speakers to further improve surround sound.

Same price at Target. But I had a 15 percent off circle deal and $20 back if I spent $125. Great deal!

The C4 is equivalent to the higher end Samsung S95D. The S85D is more like the LG B4. So if you can afford the extra $200 and trust Greentoe, then the C4 is a good deal. I'm unfamiliar with the seller. Rtings and several other sites prefer LG over Samsung. But I went with Samsung only because I got the S85D for $849. It was in my budget and I decided to buy ahead of potential increases in the 2025 pricing on account of possibly tariffs.

So odd that the 77 S85 and S90 are the same price @ $1999 on Samsung. The new S85F is $2600. The new 90 or 95 isn't out yet.

Hmm this or this: https://slickdeals.net/share/iphone_app/t/18207010

S85D:
Better picture quality
4 HDMI 2.1 ports
Wider viewing angle

Bravia 7 :
Brighter picture
Better picture processing

I would get the OLED, unless you watch mostly new channels that have constant chyrons onscreen, which would lead to burn in. If you watch varied content, save $200 and use it for a kick ass soundbar.

I realize this is apples to oranges, but is it weird that I can't decide between this tv and the 65" U8N for about the same price?

Currently waiting for my S95B to be repaired through Costco Allstate "protection plan". My advice on Samsung TVs in general: stay away. Their refusal to support Dolby Vision alone is enough frustration, but add to that poor reliability and the worst smart tv softwar ever created, you've got multiple reasons to stay away

Has anyone tried getting the 10% through chat on a TV and had success? Worked for the soundbar, wondering if anyone has done it for a TV?
