I know what you mean. In my experience, when they post as New in Woot!, then post "open box" - I've always got brand new sealed box products. They just sell it under the "open box" title to justify asking for less than the established market price. Most of the sell-out initiatives for many established electronic companies are managed by them directly where they use sell-out marketing budgets and reimburse the vendors via PO credits. If you purchase this, it could be open box, but like I said, in my experience I've always got factory sealed boxes. This approach allows them to skip the price protections and sell out for whatever they can get. Hope y'all understand what I mean. Good luck though!!

Thanks I was actually thinking of pulling the trigger on this a few days back as my current keys are starting to fade but I was going to wait a little bit longer but at this price I'll give it a go.

Thanks for the info. However, I've purchased many products from Woot below prices elsewhere, listed as "New" without the "Open Box" caveat - including some Logitech products. And when it's listed as Open Box, you've got no reason to complain if that's what you get. But good luck to you as well.

More like "Buyer Beware" which can sounds negative but isn't.

This is a great deal! Bought one months ago for the same price

Buyer beware, if you buy a pre-owned vehicle it's actually a used car.

You're all welcome.

Why would someone buy this? I'm genuinely curious. Is there something special about this keyboard? It's not mechanical. It doesn't seem particularly small. Is there something it does that others can't or better?

seamless swapping between devices across a mix of OS, months of battery life off a single charge. 8-10 months with backlight off.

You're overthinking this. Pictures do justice.

ThinkPad's TrackPoint Bluetooth Keyboard II beats this keyboard in every manner but has no backlit keys.

In my opinion, it's thr best keyboard on the market. Love it. My wife has one as well.

I really like this keyboard, but I wish the arrow keys were full-sized. I rely heavily on the keyboard for navigation and rarely use a mouse, so having easily accessible arrow keys is crucial. Aside from that, it's an excellent keyboard — almost on par with the Magic Keyboard in terms of build quality, but far more functional, especially if you switch between different systems. Overall, I'd rate it 4.76 out 5.
