I have this receiver. Right out of the box the main board bricked when trying to update the firmware. Called Denon and they wanted me to pay to ship it back for repair. Sent it back to Adorama instead. If you get this don't delay while it is under the 30 day return period. A quick search will show you this is an occasional issue. Some people have no issue updating and some will get a bricked unit. None of their steps solved the problem and it had to be returned. Now I have a Onkyo RZ TX-R270 which I really like

I think that's the point. Things are about to get ugly and people are going to stop spending. Probably trying to get rid of stock. I been waiting on this but I'm going to just continue with my x1600h.
