It does look it is direct from Anker, but still might not be as smooth of a shopping experience as a Walmart sold product

Have this - no issues. Have to charge it every 3 months or so as I have it on medium alerts and motion sensing as well for my apartment building. It works well and video quality/alerts are fast and look good. Bought it cause it has no fees.

You're right that it says one or the other, but that is because Eufy is trying to trick people into buying it. At least that is how I feel.

I can confirm they are both required during setup. Don't think you can get away without a wired connection.

I am in the Eufy ecosystem and can confirm it is an excellent doorbell for a great price. Paid $180 for mine.
