I don't know why Asus makes this model and the Vivobook S with the exact same processor and screen. The Vivobook doesn't have quite as good of build quality but is still very good and is often available for $800.
However this one is lighter and superior CPU. 2.8 vs 3.95 lbs
I am wondering for 14" does 3k really matter ? other than rotation and better screen what else does the Omnibook offer ?
Asus has a D- rating at the Better Business Bureau - Failure to respond to 83 complaint(s) filed against business

I don't get why anyone would choose the Ultra 7—it's honestly pretty awful.
I very much appreciated Ultra 9 because I already could do a good job with adobe products like Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere pro, Premiere rush, Premiere elements.
But converting and upscaling videos took a while... Definitely a dedicated video card is needed but not expected in this form factor.
BTW, the Asus screen can be upgraded to a 3K touchscreen if needed (check eBay)

Is there a 14" omnibook?
Fwiw, my Asus zenbook 14x from Best buy 2 years old has been great.

So you don't have any issues with cooling with ultra 9? Reddit is full of complaints about the single fan being inadequate for the ultra 9

Off-topic but does anyone know how to get a good deal on X1 Carbon? Anything with similar specs is double the price on their website and I don't see them on 3rd party retailers much
