how is this as a outdoor cam? could this be used for outdoor if i 3d print something for it? I've used the eufy 2k indoor for outside just fine with direct sunlight hitting it. The only issue i cam across was I didn't protect it during the rain so it permanent messed up the mic. It got drenched in rain and I let it happen to c how well it would do. Still works fine except can't record audio on it. Next time I will 3d print an "outdoor cover" for them.

i see no where in the descriptions or even the Amazon listing with photos and print that this is intended for the outside. Everything I know about it is that it is an inside (dry and temperature controlled) area camera like animal watching, babycam, inside the home monitor.

I have 3 of these outside mounted under the eves for over 1yr now and still working great... I would not put it outside where it's directly exposed to the elements tho
It has person detection but even with it turned on it picks up my cats moving by it. It also has motion tracking, motion detection, camera tampering and baby crying detection. I have been using a 2 pack for about a month now and it has been working great. The connection remains stable and the 2K 25fps resolution is clear.

If direct sunlight hitting where you are placing the camera, you should look into an outdoor solar powered camera. Would be weather proof and self charging so you don't need to worry about plugging it in.
