I have older versions of this camera, their app is pretty bad, not much options on setting, you cannot even schedule when to turn it on or off. For this price, it is pretty good deal for entry level if you don't request much.
Had these. Both dead in 6 months la view refused warranty.

Great price. This was cheaper to buy then getting 2 new cameras to add onto my current base. I may just use the new base to have the additional memory card for recording.

I have small solar panel with a micro-USB connector that came with Reolink outdoor camera. Can I use that panel to connect to this and have 24/7 recording? So my questions are:

1. Does this support continuous recording?
2. Would the external solar panel with microUSB cable work with it ?
3. WIll the #2 provide enough juice for continuous monitoring?

TIA

I would look at some of the questions under the vendors listing on Amazon. Someone did mention they were using a solar panel on each of the wireless cameras and was successful. I do know with continuous viewing live (not sure if all is recorded) it does drain the battery quicker but I am not sure if he solar panel would keep it fully charged while using the live feed.

I've had this system for about a year, it supports four cameras and easy to recharge and I get a for real half year out of a charge and simply use the charging brick go outside and charge the cameras. Supports up to four this is a nice cheap way to add two more.

These are decent cheap cameras. I got 4x units and paid a bit more for them. Good deal for those looking to get into wireless cameras. Range is meh, but if you get type c solar panels these will run indefinitely. I got these and put 2 of them on trees. One has foliage covering the panels most of the time, but is still fine in terms of power. App is basic, but what do you expect. You can use a microsd to save these files locally. Easy to setup. The only down side is there is no light so you will have to buy some solar lights and figure how to mount those with these. Then you can get colored night shots which helps a lot. I would get more, but I think the receiver max out at 4 units. I will have to setup another receiver if I want more cameras.

can these store continuous live recording on sd card and no need of their cloud ? I got a cam which allowed only 20 sec max onto the sd card .
