Same price on Amazon after the $20 coupon available on the product page.

$220 seems to be the price everywhere right now. It has been this price on Amazon for most of the past two months. I feel like the $200 price point makes it a good value for a great router, but it's not a huge discount from the normal street price.

I was just researching Wi-Fi 6 Routers, and I really think those that are considering a purchase should spring a little more for the ASUS RT-AX89X with dual 10Gb ports, (on a good day at $300) a Ubiquiti system, or downgrade to a cheap TP-Link Archer AX10 for $60.

I always reference this site for routers.

I check that site too. I would argue that there is no reason to pay $300 for a router unless you know that a sub-$200 router like RT-AX82U or RT-AX86U Pro does not meet your needs.

That's fair. The dual 10Gb ports are a nice feature and future-proof you a little more, though, in case you ever start any home lab for any reason; Security IVR, Plex Server, Smart Home, Video Game Local Streaming, Taking various services off of the cloud, etc.

If you don't ever plan on having any application like that, totally agreed. Overkill. Which is why I would "downgrade" to a cheaper router like the TP Link Archer AX10. Does all the same stuff for 1/4 to 1/3 the price.

I live somewhere where I can actually get 10gbps Internet to my home. The cost is $280 a month. If you can pay that for Internet then I don't think you'll be pinching pennies and getting the cheapest router that has two 10gbps ports (that can't even really do 10gbps through the ports if you read the reviews, you'll actually be getting about 6gbps). I'd also argue that a router that has 10gbps ports that can't actually run 10gbps through them isn't really a future proof option either. Basically if you have a use for 10gbps now it's going to limit you and you should get something better, if want 10gbps in the future, you should wait for something better.
