While this is supposed to be a step down from the G95SC, i have read some reviews where they would pay more for it to not have all the Tizen TV software on it, as it makes it really hard to change inputs and other settings. Anyway, looks like a decent deal for people that don't have the Samsung EPP/EDU accounts.

Does this allow adaptive sync/high fps when running cropped to 16:9? The Asus 49" would only run at 60 with no sync when running cropped, which is a ridiculous omission considering the DWF can do it no problem

Could you explain more what that is? I have the Alienware dwf

100% agree with this, I have the smaller 34" G85SB and the only plague is the damn tizen software. No quick button for inputs, but plenty of access for entertainment apps. Can't effectively detect switching inputs and even if you deactivate other inputs to display only the primarily used inputs it will still randomly move them around or even change your "Title for them" the monitors would be perfect if not for that software 🥲 was only enticed to but it because I managed to get a "secret" discount via support to get the monitor for ~$630 after taxes.

Love this monitor! Bought it back on black friday for the same price. Be careful when cleaning this monitor, the anti-glare coating easily comes off. Use alcohol/distilled water and an eyeglass cleaning cloth (smooth kind that feels like silk).

I just returned my G95SC and this was a primary reason why. I also had one finicky pixel, and was uncertain about the size for myself. The smart interface was garbage, as they tend to be.
