We use it at least once a week sometimes twice a week. We just make long grain "sticky" rice but since November it's never not made a perfect batch of rice

so many models, some seem like virtually the same functions and size with a $50 to $70 difference

Yeah I think this is the higher end one compared to the other deal posted, and made in Japan, for those who care.

Is made in Japan price difference has an impact on quality or are they more expensive just because of made in Japan tax. Sort of like made in America?

It's not a good deal because the Micon 10 cup is only $10 more. Granted, this 10-cup https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...=UTF8&th=1 doesn't have the "neuro" fuzzy, but it does still keep rice soft and fluffy 36+ hours.
