The recipe to make your own refill seems to work perfectly as well.
Pour 13oz of water into an empty container.
Mix in 4 tbsp Dawn Original Dish Soap. I use platinum and 2 tbsp.
Add 2 tbsp of rubbing alcohol.
You can include a few drops of essential oil (if desired).
Shake the container to combine the ingredients and the cleaner is ready to use.

I'm never that exact and don't add anything for scent. There are different measurements online. Works great. Can use another spray bottle as well.
I'm probably going to get downvoted to hell for this… but I'm paying $3 bucks for the convenience of NOT having to do this and having it shipped directly to my doorstep.

This is a fire deal in my book πŸ‘

4tbsp, thats all? I use twice that at 5oz soap. And only 0.5oz of 70% alcohol. & 11.5oz of water.
I only need one or 2 sprays and then add a little water to the sponge and I can clean a bunch of dishes.
Maybe I'll give it a shot on my next batch which should be by tomorrow as I'm just about out.
but I like to have it a bit stronger of a concentrate.

But as for my concentrations last I remember I calculated it out, and 17 sprays is 0.5oz. so 16oz bottle mixture gives me about 544 sprays.
so a 90oz dawn platinum bottle from costco @ $11 on sale (maybe $12 now... i bought a bunch last time i was there.) gives me about 18 refills. which breaks down to $0.61/homemade 16oz mixture refill.
you could always go with Kirkland brand Dish Soap concentrate but personally I don't like the smell.

Came here to say this. I don't even measure. Like 10Β’ worth of soap and alcohol make a 16oz bottle.

i use a foaming soap bottle for my mixture instead of a spray bottle (works well with stronger mix of soap/water). I used vinegar instead of alcohol... thanks for the tip, will try alcohol next time!

If you're using isopropyl alcohol for your mix, you have yourself a germicidal agent. Dawn powerwash has denatured alcohol as the cleaning agent.
