I bought this at Best Buy in good condition, it was like new just came without oem box. I will say compare to my Lenovo 4060 rtx Legion Laptop it performs just as well, somewhat better in gaming. I got it for 636$ with tax, and added 32gb ram and an extra 1tb gen 4 ssd and this computer is pretty awesome for the price. The screen is definitely brighter than my Lenovo, maybe it's IPS? I would highly recommend for the price!

It is $622 for good condition open box. I would rather pay $100 more and get the brand new.

Had one of these in the previous generation. The display, performance and chassis quality are unmatched at this price, and the system is energy efficient enough to be ran on a lower power profile and can be 'kept afloat' by a 100W USB-C PD charger.

If you think about how small 100W GaN chargers are nowadays, it means this is a clutch purchase for a travel gaming laptop.

Yep hold the line people, stop buying it at increased prices and it will drop, its even been lower than $699.99 before, I believe the OG lowest price was $670.

Thermals seem to suck, but I guess it's worth a try for the price.

Finally pulled the trigger. Dell missed out on my business by never putting that G16 back up for proper sale.
Checked this out on store. Only thing that really worries me is that the speakers seem weak. Which is odd, because my old Asus laptop hadgreat speakers with even a stand alone mini sub.
(Also, if you get the blackscreen issue there is an easy fix on reddit. Involves shutting down an Asus proprietary program)
Kind of funny how none of the retailers will budge much on these prices. Most of the builds are a year old or older now. They're going to take a bath on their inventory once next year's chipsets start rolling out. Hell, the new Nvidias are reportedly 30% stronger.
If I could have waited, I would have. But my ol' workhorse 2nd gen Asus ROG is on it's last legs. Hope this new one lasts at least half as long.

So from what I can tell this is slightly worse than an rtx 4060.

I just grabbed one before the store closed, Associates they were terrible, but this build quality feels less cheap than some of these others. Between that and the price I just had to get it.

My 7700s (but I have 7940hs) has top 2 runs. I enjoy it, does gaming well and such, thermals are controlled easily. I do recommend, if 4060 is same price I'd go that route due to dlss 3.0 it's pretty beast. But in terms raw power. 7700s is great and especially at 600s. I paid about a grand for mine
