I have the Sam's version. Problem with this fridge is things close to the back get frozen while things you place in the door are lukewarm. I think it's due to a lack of air circulation. Now I have it cranked up and mainly use it for things whose texture doesn't get ruined if they get frozen.

My 4.5 cu. ft. mini fridge just stopped cooling and makes a clicking noise. Looked up fixing it and seems like a cheap part and easy fix but I've been needing a bigger fridge so I think I'll finally take the plunge. Just hope it doesn't arrive beat up like apparently a lot of them do. Wish the garage ready one was still available for the same price though.

I actually have this. They hid the warm coils inside the walls rather than having the warm coils behind the refrigerator. Yet the walls don't seem extra thick so I presume the insulation is less thick than a normal fridge. Also has a simple interior as there is no vent with a fan to circulate air (in an attempt to make all areas the same temp, they just don't bother with this one). Its energy cost per volume is probably more than a normal fridge. But honestly I love this thing.

The local costco has the Fridgidaire Gallery 7.5 cu ft for the same price. Any difference between this Platinum vs Costco's Gallery series?
