The deal seemed incredible till I dug a little deeper. Some things to consider:

1. This does NOT have an iGPU-only mode (according to Ben G Kaiser's review on YT), which would be a major drawback for those seeking battery life.
2. A 1080 16:9 display
3. Only 1 SSD slot. This means that the 512gb ssd will most likely end up being e-waste since any reasonable productive/gaming machine needs a minumum of 1 tb and preferably 2 tb of storage.

Still this is a good deal for anyone seeking a very streamlined gaming machine at a low cost. That also may explain how there are open boxes for such a recent machine at a reasonable price.
