If you value higher resolution then get the Euktronics for the same price:
https://www.amazon.com/Eluktronic...3W
But that panel doesn't have VRR (Gsync/Freesync) so have fun with your frame tearing.
In the $900-1,000 bracket you're going to get 3/4:
1. 100% sRGB panel
2. 140W RTX 4070
3. VRR (Gsync/Freesync)
4. 2k/1440p resolution
If you want more then pay more, or wait for the technology to depreciate.

To use the word "tangent" at all there, is ridiculous!
Furthermore, it has EVERYTHING to do with your post.
Many with $900 to $1K budgets will benefit from his post and choose which 3 of those 4 options are best for their individual needs. You will have to do the same.
Gaming on a laptop 8GB 4070 pairs best with 15" 1080p resolution anyway, especially for high settings on demanding titles.
The only other thing I don't like is that it's 2x 8GB memory sticks so if upgrading you're going to be replacing both.
Other than that this thing should check all the boxes for most. Full numpad, thunderbolt port, 1TB SSD etc
Overall seems like a good deal!
