That's for the "light" versions. This one is medium duty. I haven't been following prices, but the ones that come in packs aren't the medium duty versions. Or at least I haven't seen them come in packs.

Light duty is 140lbs of force, while medium is 300lbs

Thanks! Can never have too many clamps. Picked up the limit of 5 each of the 6-inch and 12-inch clamps.

This isn't a great deal. Normal price on the 6-pack of clamps (2 each 4.5", 6" and 12") is $45. The 8-pack (2 each 6" and 12" bars, handi-clamps and spring clamps) is $40 but was on sale for $25 a few months ago. Around the same time, 4x 6-inch bar clamps was $15 ($3.75/clamp).

If you need more than a single one-off bar clamp, you're better off paying full price for one of their sets or waiting for an actual sale.

I don't see it as an option from Amazon when looking at all the sellers.

I LOVE these. Like having a buddy helping you, except you don't need to buy him beers afterwards.

Thanks for posting this clarification. The pictures look mostly the same, so it's easy to overlook the capacity ratings.

Nearly a decade ago, Lowes's site showed one deal like 50% off but my store had them marked as 2 for the price of 1. I showed the cashier the price on the site and she gave me both deals on them – two packs for half the price of one.

Acme Tool has a 4 pack of these for $19.99. I'd post the deal, but I can't from my work despite being able to sign in to leave a comment for some reason.

Looks like the 4 pack you're referring to is 140lbs of clamping force compared to the deal listed here which is 300lbs of clamping force.

That's still cheaper if you wanted 4. With shipping to my house: $26.48 / 4 = $6.62 each.
