Not bad if you did not want to get it from Adorama and or want to wait.
You might be able to PM from BB also.
This current price also puts it right around where they've priced the RZ50 on occasion lately. Some believe that the Onkyo will be more troublesome but both have plenty of reports of problems. The Onkyo has Dirac (which is hundreds more as an add-on with the Denon and you need to spend another hundred for a mic) but the Denon has separate outputs for multiple subs and you can shut off power amps that aren't being used if you have outboard amplification. It seems to be "pick your poison" between these two models.

The existing room correcting software on the AVR is quite decent (Audyssey XT32). Rather than license this competing technology (DIRAC) for everyone and up the purchase price, they kept it optional.

Just not sure if this is like an audiophile-focused addition or something really any owner of the unit will want and use. Like say without "bass control" does that mean you can't set up crossover frequency on your sub or something? Or is it just fine tuned calibration for LFE?
