I bought 3 of these and plan to return 2. I don't like the straw thing. When you're drinking water and hit the button it shoots a tiny bit of water in the air. Not good in an office environment. If you put in a carbonated drink it will shoot out when you hit the button. I will only buy the ones without the straw. I don't look forward to cleaning this long term, too many places for germs to hide.
If you email the company they well send you a whole new bottle free when the lid breaks because they don't sell the lids separately. I've done it twice.
We can't all be named Stanley, Stanley.

If it's not pink and doesn't say StAnLeY on it, I don't want it.

I would advise not drinking hot liquids from a sippy lid. Luckily, taste buds grow back

Autoseal bottles are the way to go. Hands down the best mouthpiece I've ever come across. Easy to clean because it comes apart

These are great alternatives to the other namebrand 2x expensive ones.

The bottles can take a beating. The caps do not. Kids love dropping them, so I have bought replacements. The caps can actually be replaced with generic lids available on amazon.

Straw, Spout or big hole, your choice if you need a replacement.

I have several of these as well as several water bottles made by RTIC. RTIC is superior in every way. Ice stays frozen much longer and they are more durable. Not to say Contigo is terrible, because there's certainly worse options to choose from, but if you're
used to RTIC or YETI quality, you'll be disappointed. And if you catch a deal, you'll pay a similar price for RTIC.

These are my favorite cups for my nightstand. Keeps water cold and I love that the straw piece is able to be covered which is also why I love it for my children to take to school as well. No spillage whatsoever.

Why is it that some of these Contigo cups/water bottles don't keep ice frozen as well as others of the same style? I already had one that held ice, for over a day, but it was starting to get a little rust. I was given another one as a gift, and it doesn't keep ice frozen for very long. I bought another, of the same style, and it, again, keeps ice frozen all day long. All I use them for is ice and water.

Do these have a formaldehyde warning on them? I purchased a Huron 2.0 and it had that warning. Considering returning it. One of the reasons I buy stainless steel is because I don't want to deal with chemicals.

lol visual on the person that puts a carbonated drink in a sealed container whose only pressure relief is by a straw that is in the pressurized liquid.

These will form mold in the straw/month piece area after a couple months of use and will be impossible to clear out.
