I was considering purchasing the DJI Power 1000 when it dropped to $379 on 11/29. However, after reading reviews about the proprietary charging adapter and poor customer service, I decided against it. Now, I'm looking at alternatives like Anker, Jackery, and EcoFlow. Aside from the Anker Solix C1000 having slightly less capacity, what should I consider when comparing these brands, especially regarding customer service, proprietary cables, and other potential drawbacks?

For the DJI, which proprietary charging adapter are you referring to....for solar panels?

I got the ecoflow delta 3 plus. To be honest, everyone has specific needs and all of the brands and models try to fit as many of those needs as possible within limitations of size and cost. I've found the youtube videos and comparative google sheet here helpful.

Agreed, I have enough Ecoflow and Anker solar panels, no way I'm going to pass up a hot deal on DJI because I can't use the existing solar panels I already have without an adapter (which I happen to have regardless). Solar panel charging is less than 5% of my power needs anyway. If I need no hassle solar, I'll use the Anker or Ecoflow charging station.

BTW, DJI 1000 needs a dongle to use the app so yet another proprietary connection.

How does this unit compare to the Jackery 1000 v2 or Ecoflow Delta 2?

No. You need anker solix 3000 or something that can output 240V split phase with panel tie neutral. This is for standalone use

Not a lot of power for that use case. Could maybe power a mini fridge for a day or two, or keep some lights and an internet router on for a day.

Thank you so much. Did you mean Solix F3800? Also do you know how much an electrician would charge to install it?

I'd recommend adding to the post description that this is non-returnable.

I wish I hadn't missed out on the AFERIY P210 Portable Power Station 2400W 2048Wh deal earlier today. That was an amazing price mistake. Salute to the few that got it. I guess I will give this a try

My Jackery 1000v2 just shipped for $349. But I'm tempted to pick this up for my cabin to have as an ups for my internet/security system.
