I tried zenbook before this . And I would prefer this over purely cz of battery life. I can easily get 9-10 hours. And it's as snappy as Intel .

Not at all. Only issue i had was installing surfshark and turn out they have a separate one for ARM. and most of the stuff is browser based

I got the zenbook ultra 7 for $674. I hate the mesh overlay effect from the touch screen. Would you suggest I possibly return it for this instead?
I had zenbook and returned it. This feels better imo. And better battery life
For me this one feels better and even with high res, battery life is superior. And all the apps I need are fully supported. I would take this over zenbook.
I bit, gonna return the zenbook when I pick this one up.
